"Hydro"
was born in Colombia and moved to the US in 2000. After gratuating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education and Training, Hydro spent the next 5 years in the education and Instruction fields. Hydro learned to dive in the early 1990s. In 2000, he took a PADI Instructor Development Course in Key Largo, Florida. He started working as a Dive Master at EPCOT/Disney World in 2003 and also became a NAUI Instructor. He then became the manager of a dive center in Orlando and worked there for 7 years. As part of his training and development, he had the opportunity to work hand in hand with major scuba manufactures and became a certified technician. While continuing to be involved with many NAUI educational projects as an Instructor, he has maintained his PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer status. Hydro has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Mission
To transform scuba diving into a life style rather than just a one time adventure by using watermanship skills, buoyancy control, diving excersices, and equipment manipulation to develop a fitness level that will provide comfort and safety in the water as well as to help protect the coral reef ecosystems.
